Zenix™ 4617 Phosphate Ester Surfactant

Oleth-5 Phosphate. Zenix™ 4617 Phosphate Ester Surfactant by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a surfactant and conditioning agent. It is a free-acid form of an ethoxylated alcohol phosphate ester. It does not contain alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEOs). It improves wet and dry detangling properties. Reduces friction & imparts a smooth and silky feel to dry hair. It decreases the potential for interaction between the cationic conditioning agent and the anionic suspending agent. Zenix™ 4617 Phosphate Ester Surfactant is suggested for use in conditioning shampoos for bleached or virgin hair.
