Prolipid™ 141 lamellar gel by Ashland and distributed by Ashland in US is a non-preserved emulsifier. It is a multi-functional lamellar gel for face and body mimics the skin’s natural lipid structure.
  • It enhances the delivery of functional actives, and is compatible with anionic thickeners.
  • It also improves formula spreading and enables the creation of structured emulsions and mousses.
  • It acts as a pollution shield, improves skin barrier function and delivers durable hydration.
  • It offers water resistance along with a less greasy feel in sun care formulas.
  • Prolipid™ 141 lamellar gel is suitable for leave-on applications and can be used in various product forms, including oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions, balms and butters, as well as oil-based or anhydrous formulations.
