ISP Colorflow™ 101 liquid crystal

Cholesteryl Oleyl Carbonate (and) Cholesteryl Nonanoate (and) Cholesteryl Chloride (and) BHT. ISP Colorflow™ 101 liquid crystal by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as an aesthetic enhancer. It is a blend of cholesteryl esters formulated to produce an exciting range of visual effects. This cholesteric liquid crystal mixture produces opalescent/iridescent appearance that arises from the way it selectively reflects visible light. It is a green-colored viscous, iridescent oily liquid. It exhibits an occlusive emolliency when applied to the skin and can also be used to deliver and stabilize lipophilic active ingredients such as vitamins. ISP Colorflow™ 101 liquid crystal can be added to a range of aqueous gels and lip-gloss products. Other applications include body care, color cosmetics and facial care.
