Nylon-12. Orgasol® 2002 EXD NAT COS by Arkema acts as softening and texturing agent, radiance promoter and binder. It is a microporous and round shape nylon 12 powder characterized by a great affinity for the skin, providing very long wear and a velvety feeling. It brings to formulations an easy, glide-on application and imparts a radiant and even complexion all day, due to long lasting sebum control and soft focus properties. It increases the impact resistance of compact powders, limit the soaping effect. In lipsticks and compact foundations, it improves the homogeneity of the color and limits the oil exsudation. Its applications include compact and loose powders, liquid and compact foundations, lipsticks and hybrid products (BB creams). In oil continuous skin care and sun care formulations, it speeds the absorption of otherwise greasy formulas, and replaces the typical oily feeling and glossy appearance with a natural powdery finish. It improves the dispersion of sun filters at the microscopic level, reducing the whitish residual finish and increasing the effective SPF.
