Eldew® SL-205

Isopropyl N-Lauroyl Sarcosinate (100.0%). Eldew® SL-205 by Ajinomoto acts as an emollient, dispersant, solubilizer and moisturizing agent. It is amino acid-based colorless to light yellow fluid. It is a condensation product of coconut fatty acid, plant derived sarcosine and isopropanol. It has an excellent dissolving ability against organic UV-filter and active ingredients. It allows low solubility materials to be easily incorporated into formulations. Eldew® SL-205 is biodegradable and has low viscosity, low odor and high affinity for pigments. It provides good spreadibility, light touch and exhibits good skin compatibility. It also has a non-greasy and non-sticky sensory feel. It improves smoothness of wet hair and dispersibility of titanium dioxide in mineral oxide. Used in sun care, make-up, conditioner, hair care and skin care products.
