N-Capryloyl-lysine (100%). Amihope® OL by Ajinomoto acts as an emollient, texturing- and moisturizing agent. It is an amino acid-based organic functional powder derived from L-lysine and fatty acid. It helps prevent clumping of pressed powders and loose powder makeup products. It has excellent lubricious property. It is insoluble in both water and organic solvent. Its flat, hexagonal, and crystalline structure gives excellent adherence to skin which provides long wearing properties. Amihope® OL imparts light, smooth touch during spreading and good balance of moisturizing and silky feel. It improves reistance to drop test and has low refractive index. It is used in sun care, foundations, face powder, illuminator, eye color, blush, lip color, hair shampoos, conditioners, facial creams, body lotion, surface treatment for pigments, powder materials and skin care products.
