Sambucus nigra Fruit Extract. PhytoCide Elderberry OS by Active Micro Technologies acts as a preservative. This GMO-free product is derived from elderberries which are an excellent source of undecylenic acid, an organic fatty acid that provides broad antimicrobial benefits, but is especially effective against fungal microorganisms. This multi-functional ingredient delivers antioxidant, anti-aging and skin conditioning benefits, while providing natural antimicrobial efficacy against gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria, as well as yeast and mold. PhytoCide Elderberry OS is used in cosmetics and personal care formulations. Complies with REACH and COSMOS.
