Glyceryl Caprylate. Capmul® 708G by Abitec Corporation acts as a non-ionic emulsifier, solubilizer, emollient, solvent and anti-microbial agent. It provides light silky-smooth and non-greasy feel on the skin. It offers good lubricity and self-preserving properties. It is vegetable-based & biodegradable and prepared by the esterification of glycerol & propylene glycol with selected fatty acids and via glycerolysis of triglycerides. Capmul® 708G finds application in formulating lotions, creams and other cosmetic products.
