Andisil® SF 3005V

Dimethicone (and) C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate (and) Bis-vinyl Dimethicone. Andisil® SF 3005V by AB Specialty Silicones is a vinyl gum blend. It is recommended for longer play time applications and provides cascading volatility & strong film forming properties. For hair care products, it adds anti-frizz properties and conditioning to prevent split ends. It is recommended for dry & damaged hair and anhydrous formulations. Also, provides ease of formulation, low residue/light build up and soft/supple feel. It improves texture and wet & dry combing. It improves organic compatibility. It combines volatile siloxane with high molecular weight gum providing excellent water resistance. In skin care, it provides long wear of actives on skin, wash off resistance and unique skin feel. Also, offers cushion, lubrication, organic compatibility, water repellency, skin protectant and spreadability. It is suitable for clear formulations. Andisil® SF 3005V is used in cleansers, creams & lotions, color cosmetics, serums, sun care, leave-in conditioners and styling treatments. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
