Shorea Stenoptera Seed Butter. LIPEX® IllipeSoft™ by AAK is a vegan, eco-friendly, sustainably sourced solid fat composed of refined, bleached & deodorised vegetable fat taken from the fruit of Shorea stenoptera. It uses specialized lipid technology to modify the melting & crystallization properties. Its small, homogenous & stable crystalline network prevents bloom & grainy textures, protects & repairs the lipid barrier, and delivers increased thermal stability.

• It allows cosmetic formulators to deliver rich, superior emulsions without needing to add texturizing agents and offers innovative anhydrous formulations that remain smooth, firm, gloss & less brittle.
• It is used in dermo-cosmetics, skin care such as creams & lotions, body butters, and lip care such as lip balms.
• Its flatter melting profile indicates it is a less temperature-sensitive product.
• If it contains less solid fat content at room temperature then the ingredient is softer and more pliable.
• When it possesses a higher solid fat content at skin temperature, it results in a longer playtime & provides a luxurious feel, the ability to protect and repair the lipid barrier.
• At a higher solid fat content at 40°C, it helps stabilize formulations at high temperatures, resulting in improved thermal stability and helps avoid temperature-induced phase separation.
