Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Humectants

This cleansing formulation leaves the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Glucamate™ DOE-120 Thickener and Glucquat™ 125 Humectant, two naturally-derived ingredients, add body and provide a rich skinfeel. Chemonic™ LI-7 Surfactant is a naturally-derived low irritation nonionic surfactant that boosts viscosity and emolliency.

This innovative Foaming Liquid Soap has low viscosity and rich, abundant foam when applied through the foaming valve. The foam's creaminess and stability is provided by Merquat™ 740 conditioning polymer and by the surfactant system. This system consists of the naturally derived soap Potassium Cocoate, Chembetaine™ OL-30 surfactant which delivers an emollient sensory, Chemoxide™ LO-PF amine oxide which boosts the foam and helps to stabilize the formula, and Chemonic™ LI-7 surfactant which aids in the solubilization of the fragrance and imparts emolliency to the skin. Glucquat™ 125 humectant, derived from corn and other sources, promotes humectancy to the skin. A formulation by Lubrizol.

Glucamate™ DOE-120 Thickener provides high viscosity, exceptional softness and has a low irritation potential for eyes and skin. Sulfochem™ TD-3 Surfactant is a mild surfactant ideal for baby skin. Quatrex™ S Conditioner, a liquid cationic surfactant compatible with anionic ingredients, acts as an excellent conditioning agent. Glucam™ E-20 Humectant provides humectancy.

The naturally-derived Glucamate™ LT Thickener provides efficient thickening and mildness, contributing to the honey-like texture. Carbopol® Ultrez 21 Polymer and Promulgen™ D Emulsifier work together to stabilize and emulsify this deodorant formulation. Schercemol™ DIA Ester imparts a soft, silky skinfeel while Glucam™ E-20 Humectant provides humectancy.

This paraben-free, 'sensitive skin' body wash formula was designed for use on kids of all ages with the most delicate skin. Chemccinate™ DSLS Surfactant is a very mild surfactant which reduces the irritancy of formulated products. The Chembetaine™ S Surfactant is an amphoteric which is derived from soybean oil which imparts special conditioning, foaming and viscosity building properties especially in combination with systems based on Sulfochem™ AOS-K Surfactant. Chemonic™ LI-7 Surfactant is a low irritation, water-soluble component of the formula which is an especially mild cleansing agent, viscosity builder, solubilizer and emollient. Glucam™ E-10 Humectant imparts a smooth, silky feel to the skin, while Glucamate™ LT Thickener offers viscosity building properties in the absence of amides

Avalure™ UR-450 Polymer provides breathable water resistant property to this very water-resistant, easy-to-apply sunscreen which is ideal for people who partake in water sports or activities that require long exposure under the sun. This high SPF formulation with UVA and UVB protection is emulsified by the combination of vegetable derived emulsifiers: Glucamate™ SSE-20 Emulsifier, Glucate™ SS Emulsifier and Promulgen™ D Nonionic Emulsifier. It also contains light emollient Schercemol™ DIS Ester to improve the sensory of the formulation containing high levels of organic UV filters. It also contains Glucam™ E-20 Humectant to maintain skin moisture.

It is formulated to minimize the irritation caused by excessive use of emulsifiers in suncare formulations. The combination of Pemulen™ TR-2 Polymeric Emulsifier and Glucamate™ SSE-20 Emulsifier provides excellent stability to this low viscosity sprayable sunscreen lotion. Pemulen™ TR-2 Polymeric Emulsifier also offers water-resistant properties to this formulation. Schercemol™ DIS Ester provides light emolliency and improves the compatibility of the formulation to the skin sebum. Hydramol™ PGPD Ester enhances the moisturizing property of the formulation through its humectancy and emolliency. Algae extract calms the skin and minimizes skin redness due to sun exposure.

Clear Cleansing System

This Soothing and Moisturizing After Sun Gel contains a combination of botanicals, skin conditioners and Glucam™ E-20 Humectant which soothes irritated skin, increasing the user's sense of well being. This light green sparkling gel provides a pleasant non-tacky skinfeel due to the use of Carbopol® Ultrez 20 Polymer, Hydramol™* PGPL Ester and SilSense®* DW-18 Silicone.
