What is POLYGLYCERYL-6 POLYRICINOLEATE used for?

Emulsifying: Stabilizes water-in-oil emulsions with high internal water phase. Frequently used in sunscreens and water-resistant color cosmetics.

Origin

Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate is produced by the esterification of polyglycerol-6 (derived from vegetable glycerin) with ricinoleic acid (from castor oil). This fully plant-based process yields a viscous, amber-colored liquid that is biodegradable and suitable for COSMOS, ECOCERT, and other natural certifications.
