VINNOL® H 15/45 M (Renewable Energy) by Wacker is a carboxylate-containing terpolymer of vinyl chloride (VC), vinyl acetate (VAc) and dicarboxylic acid. It is a thermoplastic binder that dries physically, creating a film once the solvent in the formulation has evaporated.

It uses electrical energy sourced entirely from renewable energy, with certification and verification provided by TÜV Rhineland.

It is manufactured with a lower product carbon footprint (PCF) compared to the conventional VINNOL®-type.

It is extremely tough grade offering permanent flexibility, abrasion resistance, little tendency to swell in the presence of water and low gas permeability.

VINNOL® H 15/45 M (Renewable Energy) exhibits strong resistance to oil, grease, dilute aqueous acids, alkalis, saline solutions as well as aliphatic hydrocarbons like white spirit and alcohols.

It serves as a reactant or co-binder in two-pack systems, where it can be crosslinked with isocyanates, epoxy resins, or melamine resins.

It adheres excellently to metal surfaces due to its carboxyl content.

It is used in heat-sealable lacquers, metal and masonry paints, paper and film coatings, industrial coatings, printing inks and primers applications.

It has a shelf life of 12 months.

VINNOL® H 15/45 M by Wacker is a carboxylate-containing terpolymer of vinyl chloride (VC), vinyl acetate (VAc) and dicarboxylic acid.
