Hydrous, medium particle size kaolin clay. Acts as an excellent functional filler and rheology modifier. Exhibits high surface area, neutral pH and low oil absorption for higher filler loading. It has exceptional brightness and provides optimum spacing of pigment particles of titanium oxide. Improves substrate adhesion and provides opacity, good gloss, brightness and whiteness. Provides improved surface appearance upon drying. Designed for water-based paints, coatings and inks. Can be used alone or with other kaolin products and organic pigments in semi-gloss coatings.
