Water washed, ultra-fine particle size, high brightness kaolin
clay. Acts as an excellent functional filler and rheology modifier. Exhibits excellent brightness and provides good tint strength, gloss- and enamel hold out properties. Has high surface area and low oil absorption for higher pigment loading. Helps reduce TiO<sub>2</sub> content and is cost-effective. Provides improved dry and wet opacity. Allows for good pigment coverage and void filling. It has inherent color characteristics which allow for lower loadings of colored pigments in color matching applications. Ideal for use in water-based paints, coatings and inks.
