Heptane (SBP 94/100) is a narrow boiling range, high purity, C7 hydrocarbon solvent by Shell Chemicals. It is made from hydrogenated feedstock. Used in surface coatings and printing inks. Possesses very low aromatics and olefins content and low n-hexane content. Heptane (SBP 94/100) can be used as an extraction solvent. Suitable for industrial process conditions where a particular evaporation/drying performance is required.
