SCHWEGO® fluor 6536 by Schwegmann acts as a wetting agent. It is PFOS- PFOA-free based on environmental compliant C4, C6 technology ethanol solution of a fluoro-tenside. It is a clear, colorless liquid. SCHWEGO® fluor 6536 possesses extremely high interfacial activity and reduces the surface tension. It is soluble in ethanol. Recommended for water borne & solvent borne coating systems and pigment pastes. The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.30%. SCHWEGO® antimec 8019 by Schwegmann is an antioxidant in solvent mixture. It acts as an anti-skinning agent. It is recommended for water-based and solventborne coating systems. It is free of butanone oxime and aromates. SCHWEGO® antimec 8019 offers stabilization of viscosity against air oxidation and improved flow properties. The dosage level is 0.2-1.0%. SCHWEGO® inhibitor 6817 by Schwegmann is a mixture of organic substances. It acts as a long term corrosion protection agent. It exhibits good adhesion and good penetration into the residual rust particles resulting in passivation of rust on steel. It provides very good solvent stability. It is recommended for water-based coating systems, anticorrosive primers, one-coat anticorrosive systems and maintenance finishes. It is recoatable with most current coating systems. Recommended dosage level of SCHWEGO® inhibitor 6817 grade is 3.0-5.0%. SCHWEGO® flow 8060 by Schwegmann acts as a surface active additive, which can eliminate levelling problems in solvent containing paint systems. Etherified melamine-formaldehyde resin in a mixture of solvents. In consequence of the increased smoothness of the surface, it frequently also improves the gloss. In many cases it also eliminates the floatation problems. SCHWEGO® antimec 8010 by Schwegmann acts as an anti-skinning agent. Ketoxime, phenols and aromates free antioxidant in solvent mixture. It is a yellow clear liquid. It helps in stabilization of viscosity and avoids skinning. SCHWEGO® antimec 8010 promotes flow and through drying. Recommended for waterborne and solvent borne coatings. The recommended dosage is 0.5-1.5%. SCHWEGO® foam 6388 by Schwegmann acts as a VOC-free and silicone-free defoamer. Surface active polymers in a solvent mixture. SCHWEGO® foam 6388 is an interfacially active additive, which influences the surface tension. Hence, the formation of bubbles during the manufacture of paint or during application is reduced to a minimum. Any bubbles formed are quickly destroyed. In general it has beneficial effect on the flow of the paint film. SCHWEGO® foam 8333 by Schwegmann acts as a defoamer and deaerator. Block copolymer. Is an interfacially active product that suppresses the formation of air inclusions and destroys the air bubbles before the film dries. Preserves gloss and is therefore also suitable for varnishes. Coatings with SCHWEGO® foam 8333 show a long term stability above average. SCHWEGO® foam 6351 by Schwegmann acts as a defoaming agent. Polymer in solvent mixture. Influences the surface tension in solvent based and solvent free systems, thus improves the leveling, prevents cratering, substrate through showing as well as blistering. SCHWEGO® foam 6351 is particularly effective in hammer tone finishes, structural coatings, reactive thick film systems, heavily pigmented coating systems and formulations, suitable for airless spraying. SCHWEGO® flow 8058 by Schwegmann is a VOC-free, aqueous solution of silicone polymers. Possesses flow disturbances, like orange peel or ropiness, which frequently also impair the gloss. SCHWEGO® flow 8058 eliminates these surface defects in water borne systems. In many cases the gloss and the scratch resistance are also increased. SCHWEGO® mar 8311 by Schwegmann is a silicone polymer by Schwegmann. It acts a slip-, and anti-scratching agent. It is a volatile organic compound free grade. It offers improved mar & blocking resistance, increased film hardness, reduced foaming, and diminished dirt retention. It is recommended for water-based, solventborne, air drying, and stoving coating systems. The dosage level of the grade is 0.02 - 0.30%. SCHWEGO® mar 8311 is approved by FDA.
