La Thix FB by Schwegmann acts as a rheological additive. Organically modified aluminium derivative. Increases the viscosity of binders in solvent based systems and causes pseudoplastic rheology. Prevents the settling and sagging. La Thix FB has no influence on gloss. Acts only on binders containing ester-, hydroxyl or other functional groups, which are able to form hydrogen bonds. Polar solvents may have an influence on the effectiveness. Is particularly suitable for high build systems, textured stoving paints, architectural and DIY-paints.
