ACRYTAN RT (C) by Pidilite Industries is an amphoteric vinyl-based polymeric syntan. It is designed for drum impregnation of split and full grain leather, achieving very short nap after buffing. It possesses greatly improved buffing properties, reduced stretchiness and increased compactness of fiber. It helps to improve tightness, fullness, chrome uptake and distribution, when used in rechroming. ACRYTAN RT (C) is used at the end of the process into exhausted fatliquor bath. Recommended to be used at 0.5-4%. ACRYTAN 5400 by Pidilite Industries is an acrylic syntan specially designed for retanning of all types of leather. It is bleaching in nature, and shows good light fastness and stability on aging. It exhibits excellent grain tightening with smooth and tight grain. ACRYTAN 5400 imparts excellent plumping to the leather. Recommended to be used at 2-4% during rechroming. ACRYTAN TG by Pidilite Industries is a polymeric dispersing agent. It helps in leveling of dyes and uniform distribution of vegetable tanning materials. It enhances dispersion of retanning and helps to avoid over-feeling of grain. ACRYTAN TG is used for leveling of TiO<sub>2</sub> while making white leather. Recommended to be used at 1-2%. ACRYTAN 3003 by Pidilite Industries is an aqueous solution of acrylic polymer specially designed for retanning of chrome, semi-chrome or vegetable-tanned leather. It possesses good light fastness and imparts leveled dying. It offers excellent grain tightness. Due to its molecular structure, it deeply penetrates into the leather and does not affect the grain clarity. As compared with other acrylic syntans, it does not bleach color. ACRYTAN 3003 is specially recommended for shoe upper leather. It can be applied preferably in combination with other anionic retanning or filling agents. Recommended to be used at 3.0-5.0%. ACRYTAN R 83 by Pidilite Industries is an aqueous solution of acrylic copolymer in partially neutralized form. It is specially designed for retanning of chrome, semi-chrome or vegetable-tanned leather. It possesses excellent selective filling properties along with good light fastness. ACRYTAN R 83 imparts fine, tight & flat grains. It improves softness and smoothness of leather. It offers good plumping effect. Recommended usage level is 2-4%. ACRYTAN 2001 by Pidilite Industries is an aqueous solution of low molecular weight acrylic polymer specially designed as phenolic replacement for the production of fine grain, soft leather. When used in retanning, it imparts fullness, improves flatness and tightens the grain without impairing the fineness of the grain. ACRYTAN 2001 provides excellent roundness without impairing softness of leather. Recommended to be used at 1.0-5.0%. ACRYTAN MA 40 TR by Pidilite Industries is an acrylic co-polymeric syntan designed for retanning of all types of leather having soft & mellow feel to the substrate. It improves the fullness whilst maintaining flat, fine and tight grain. It exhibits excellent acid stability. It is highly reactive in nature and maintains the aesthetic softness of leather. ACRYTAN MA 40 TR is suitable for white, paste and florescent shade, due to its excellent light fastness. Recommended to be used at 3.0-5.0%.
