Specially modified hydrocarbon resin. Used in heat set and quick set printing ink vehicles, and pigment flushing and grinding applications. Reacts moderately with aluminum gellants to enhance gel structure. Offers high melt point, good solvent release, pumpable rheology at processing temperatures for all gel vehicles, and compatibility with modified rosin esters. Modified hydrocarbon resin. Used for heatset and sheetfed printing ink. Enhances ink rheology to sustain the shear and heat of high-speed presses. Promotes low tack.
