LX® 1055 by Neville Chemical is a thermoplastic low molecular weight, hydrophobic hydrocarbon resin produced by thermal polymerization of mixed DCPD, aromatic and alicyclic monomers derived from petroleum feedstocks. Acts as a processing and dispersing aid. It promotes wetting of pigments and fillers and also reduces mixing energy. LX® 1055 is recommended for use in asphalt roof coatings. Inert thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin formulated to a mixed aliphatic/aromatic composition. Used as an extender in various alkyd based coatings to increase film hardness, chemical resistance and gloss and reduce dry time and in ink applications for quick solvent release, pigment wetting and viscosity control. Thermoplastic petroleum hydrocarbon resin formulated to a mixed aliphatic/aromatic composition. Used as an extender in various alkyd based coatings to increase film hardness, chemical resistance and gloss and reduce dry time, and in ink applications for quick solvent release, pigment wetting and viscosity control. Offers good solubility characteristics. Inert thermoplastic petroleum hydrocarbon resin formulated to a mixed aliphatic/aromatic composition. Used as an extender in various alkyd based coatings to increase film hardness, chemical resistance, gloss and reduce dry time and in ink applications to help pigment wetting and control viscosity. Inert thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin. Used in coatings and inks. Offers increased film hardness, chemical resistance and gloss. Provides quick solvent release, pigment wetting and viscosity control. LX® 685, 125 by Neville Chemical is a chemically inert, thermoplastic low molecular weight, non-saponifiable hydrocarbon resin. It is produced by thermal polymerization of mixed DCPD, aromatic and alicyclic monomers derived from petroleum feedstocks. Shows compatibility with most alkyds and solubility in aromatic and aliphatic solvents. LX® 685, 125 is recommended for aluminum paints, industrial primer and high solids solvent borne alkyd based coatings. LX® 238 by Neville Chemical is a thermoplastic low molecular weight, hydrocarbon resin produced by thermal polymerization of mixed DCPD, aromatic and alicyclic monomers derived from petroleum feedstocks. It is a low color and VOC grade, soluble in aromatic and aliphatic solvents and oils. It is compatible with long and medium oil alkyds. LX® 238 is recommended for high solids solvent borne alkyd based coatings. Chemically inert, non-saponifiable hydrocarbon resin. Used in inks. Provides very good resistance to alkalis, acids and moisture. Petroleum styrenic hydrocarbon resin. Used in inks and coatings. Provides increased tensile strength, abrasion resistance, hardness and modulus. Low molecular weight, inert thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin formulated to a high aromatic content. Used in coatings to increase film hardness, chemical resistance and gloss, as a co-resin in various let-down and grinding vehicles or as the sole resin in flushing vehicles or soybean oil-based news ink vehicles. Provides good pigment wetting and stabilization and broad vegetable oil compatibility.
