Specially modified hydrocarbon resin. Used in heat set and quick set printing ink vehicles and pigment flushing and grinding applications. Reacts with aluminum gellants to enhance gel structure. Offers high melt point, rapid solvent release and pumpable rheology at processing temperatures for all gel vehicles. Provides improved pigment wetting, grinding through acid modification and compatibility with modified rosin esters.
