Vercet™ M700 by NatureWorks is 3,6-dimethyl-1,4-dioxane-2,5-dione. It is a high-purity meso-lactide derived from bio-based feedstock. It can be used to create low volatile organic compound (VOC) solvent- borne alkyd resin for wood and metal coatings that have excellent adhesion and impact resistance.
