Polyfluo® 120 by Micro Powders is a combination of polyethylene and PTFE wax. Imparts excellent abrasion resistance, hardness and slip from the polyethylene component, along with lubricity as well as heat resistance provided by PTFE. Polyfluo® 120 is used in topcoats, gravure, heat-set web offset, sheet fed (quick set), ultra violet printing inks, coil coatings, can coatings, industrial paints and finishes as well as all types clear top coats. Polyfluo® 540 by Micro Powders is modified fluorocarbon. Has been specially processed for easier dispersion, better gloss, and faster particle migration. Polyfluo® 540 offers very good combination of film toughness (rub resistance) and lubricity (slip). Used in offset, letterpress, ultra-violet, Flexo and gravure inks. Polyfluo® 535 by Micro Powders is Micronized, modified fluorocarbon. Has been specially processed for easier dispersion, better gloss retention and faster particle mobility. Rub and slip properties, as well as the clarity of overprint varnishes (OPV) are greatly enhanced when it is added at 1/2-1% levels. Polyfluo® 535imparts an excellent combination of film toughness (scratch and rub resistance) as well as lubricity (slip) when added into printing inks, paints or other types of surface coatings. Used in offset, letterpress, ultra-violet, flexo inks and gravure inks. Polyfluo® 150 by Micro Powders is a unique, high-performance composite of synergistic combination of polyethylene and PTFE wax that enhances mobility to the coating surface. It offers slip, scratch, abrasion resistance and surface lubricity. The extra-fine particle size provides excellent gloss retention and film clarity. It is used in water-based, solvent-based and energy-curable coatings and inks. Designed for industrial (including plastic and metal), stains, sealers, varnishes, wood, powder, interior and exterior can and container coatings as well as printing inks and OPV (including flexo and gravure). It has a recommended dosage level of 0.5-3.0%. Polyfluo® 150 conforms to (EU) 2019/1021 & Stockholm Convention (POP) Polyfluo® 523AL by Micro Powders is a highly engineered HDPE/ PTFE/ Alumina nano-composite wax additive for unsurpassed scratch and scuff resistance. It exhibits maximum abrasion resistance with slip and lubricity. The composite is reinforced with 300 nm aluminum oxide nanoparticles (Mohs Hardness 9.0). It provides excellent gloss retention, film clarity and good dispersibility. It is suitable for water based, solvent-based and energy curable coatings and inks. Polyfluo® 523AL is used in stains, sealers, varnishes, flexo, gravure and printing inks. It is also used in coil-, industrial (plastic and metal)-, wood- and powder coatings. Recommended addition level of 0.5-1.5%. Provides maximum slip and lubricity when added to printing inks, paints as well as surface coatings. At low levels, it imparts a high degree of lubricity along with excellent rub resistance when added to inks, paints and coatings. Used in heat-set offset, quick set, ultra-violet, metal decorating inks, overprint varnishes, industrial paints such as coil and can coatings. Micronized modified fluorocarbon. Has been developed to provide maximum slip, scratch and abrasion resistance when added to printing inks, paints as well as surface coatings. Used in heat-set offset, quick set, ultra-violet, metal decorating inks, overprint varnishes, as well as, industrial paints such as coil and can coatings. Combination of polyethylene and PTFE wax. Provides a combination of optimum rub resistance and hardness usually associated with polyethylene, along with the lubricity (slip) provided by PTFE. Is a highly efficient and cost effective additive which, in most cases, can directly replace high priced PTFE powders. Used in flexo, gravure, web offset-heat set, sheet fed (quick set), metal decorating printing inks, coil coatings, industrial paints or finishes and all types of overprint varnishes. Modified modified fluorocarbon. Has been developed to provide maximum slip, excellent rub resistance and lubricity when added to printing inks, paints as well as surface coatings. Used in heat-set offset, quick set, ultra violet and metal decorating inks, overprint varnishes, industrial paints such as coil as well as can coatings.
