Ecroflow® AV 25 by Mallard Creek Polymers is an APEO-free thickener. It is an acrylic / methacrylic acid ester-copolymer water-based emulsion which is either anionic or non-ionic in nature. Shows extraordinary solubility in alkaline media with high raise in viscosity exhibiting pseudoplastic behavior. Prevents settling of pigments and fillers, formation of serum and sagging on vertical surfaces. Compatible with most common additives, pigments and pigment preparations. Applications of Ecroflow® AV 25 include paints and printing inks for interior applications. Carboxyl groups-containing acrylic/ methacrylic acid ester-copolymer emulsion. It acts as a thickener. It is APEO-free, hydrophobically modified water-based emulsion which is either anionic or non-ionic in nature. Shows extraordinary thickening behavior in alkaline media. Being very high shear efficient, it possibly reduces spattering. Also due to low shear thickening, better leveling can be achieved. Compatible with most common additives, pigments and pigment preparations. Applications include paints for interior applications.
