Melamine Resin Modified Ammonium Polyphosphate (APP) by Lemman Laboratories International is a flame retardant based on phosphorus or nitrogen synergism and is free from formaldehyde. It is different from APP in the following properties i.e. reduce solubility & viscosity in water, improves dispersibility and thermal expansion efficiency during inflaming retarding process & insulation performance, show compatibility with polymers as well as resins, increases fluidity of powder. Chlorinated Paraffin-42 Qualified product by Lemman Laboratories International is a chlorinated paraffin. It acts as a plasticizer of PVC, working with DOP and BOP (30% to 50% of weight of mixture). It improves the anti-aging property, mechanical strength and serviceability of products. It offers good resistance to water and fire. It is used in lubricating oils to decrease freezing point, enhance pressure resistance and the strength along with the anti-corrosion property of oil film. It is non-combustible, non-explosive, non-volatile, non-toxic and soluble in most organic solvents, insoluble in water and ethanol. It gets decomposed at 120°C and releases hydrogen chloride gas. It is obtained after melting, chlorinating, de-acidification of solid paraffins and lastly adding an appropriate heat stabilizer. It is widely used for CPVC, chlorinated rubber, and other polymers in order to produce stable, waterproof, fire-retarding paint and emulsion.
Aluminum trihydrate. It acts as an inorganic flame retardant. It is used in solvent- and water-borne paints, UV curable coatings and inks. It has a molecular weight of 78.00. In many applications, it is used alone and in others, it is combined with halogenated flame retardants, giving a synergist effect and an increased combined efficiency.
