Aluminum trihydrate. It acts as an inorganic flame retardant. It is used in solvent- and water-borne paints, UV curable coatings and inks. It has a molecular weight of 78.00. In many applications, it is used alone and in others, it is combined with halogenated flame retardants, giving a synergist effect and an increased combined efficiency.
