K-FLEX® 500 by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is an ultra-low-VOC coalescent. It offers stronger, better-coalesced films with superior gloss, clarity and hardness development. Provides good scrub-, corrosion-, salt fog-, dirt pick-up- and blocking resistance. It is a blend of dipropylene glycol dibenzoate and diethylene glycol dibenzoate. It has excellent compatibility with polar polymers such as polyvinyl acetate. Designed for use in coating industry and helps to meet the most stringent VOC regulations. It optimizes the excellent performance of K-FLEX® DP with improved handling, due to its low-temperature flexibility. K-FLEX® 500 is highly recommended for nitrocellulosic & acrylic lacquers and is also effective in latex paints and industrial coatings. It is non-phthalate, non-SVHC and REACH compliant and is listed in FDA 21 CFR 175.105-components of coatings. K-FLEX® DP by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a polar, high solvating dipropylene glycol dibenzoate plasticizer. It is compatible with a wide range of polar polymers and rubbers, including TPU. It is highly recommended for acrylic- & nitrocellulose lacquers, and plastisol printing. K-FLEX® DP is often blended with other plasticizers such as K-FLEX® DE (diethylene glycol dibenzoate). It can be safely used in paper and paperboard coatings in contact with dry foods, aqueous and fatty foods. Complies with TSCA, EINECS, AICS, DSL, ECL, ENCS, IECSC, NZloC, PICCS and SWISS. K-FLEX® 500P by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a polar dibenzoate plasticizer and coalescent for environmentally friendly, low-VOC paints. It provides improved scrub, high gloss, excellent blocking and reduces volatile organic compounds. Offers excellent scrub resistance, gloss with improved handling due to low temperature flexibility. It is highly recommended for acrylic- & nitrocellulose lacquers, interior- & exterior latex paints, industrial- & special purpose coatings. K-FLEX® 500P will offer the paint formulator a viable option to more volatile coalescents such as 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentadiol monoisobutyrate or even low VOC types such as triethylene glycol di-2-ethylhexanoate. Complies with FDA listing 21 CFR 175.105, 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180. K-FLEX® PG by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is an ultra-low-VOC coalescent and plasticizer. It is propylene glycol dibenzoate. It shows excellent compatibility with polar polymers and achieves stronger, better-coalesced films with excellent performance characteristics such as scrub-, corrosion-, dirt pick-up- and blocking resistance. Like K-FLEX® DP, K-FLEX® PG has an extremely low freeze point, which results in easier handling. It provides an improved economy. In-floor polish applications improve gloss development between consecutive coats, as well as excellent leveling, recoatability, hardness development, removability, and resistance to soiling, water spots, and powdering. It offers excellent chemistry and regulatory profile and has no GHS label requirements in the U.S. and Europe. It is a very high solvator and is particularly useful in blends of plasticizers to tailor characteristics and end-performance. It is listed in FDA 21 CFR 175.105-components of coatings. K-FLEX® 850S by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is an ultra-low-VOC coalescent and plasticizer. It is a blend of diethylene glycol dibenzoate and dipropylene glycol dibenzoate. It has excellent compatibility with polar polymers & waterborne systems. It achieves stronger, better-coalesced films with excellent performance characteristics including hardness and scrubs -, corrosion-, dirt pick-up- & blocking resistance. It is economical to use and tailored to provide good handling. It is highly recommended for direct-to-metal coatings such as primers, interior and exterior latex paints, industrial and protective coatings. It is also effective in nitrocellulosic and acrylic lacquers. In-floor polish applications, K-FLEX® 850S improves gloss development between consecutive coats, as well as excellent leveling, recoatability, removability, and resistance to soiling, water spots, and powdering. Also recommended for latex overprint varnish and flexographic inks. It is label-free in the EU. It is listed in FDA 21 CFR 175.105-components of coatings. K-FLEX® 850P by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a non-phthalate dibenzobate plasticizer. Used in coatings, both architectural and graphic arts. It offers excellent stain resistance and durability. K-FLEX® 850P is a high solvator grade which can be used to complement other general purpose phthalates or non-phthalates to compatibilize and enhance performance in vinyls. It is effective for plastisol printing. It can be safely used in paper and paperboard coatings in contact with dry foods, aqueous and fatty foods. Complies with TSCA, EINECS, AICS, DSL, ECL, ECSI, ENCS, IECSC, NZloC, PICCS and SWISS. It is a dibenzoate plasticizer that acts as a polar plasticizer that is a high solvator. K-FLEX® 800 is applicable include latex coatings. Complies with TSCA, EINECS, AICS, DSL, ECL, ECSI, ENCS, IECSC, NZloC, PICCS, SWISS and FDA. K-FLEX® 975P by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is an ultra-low-VOC coalescent and plasticizer. It is a blend of diethylene glycol-, dipropylene glycol- and propylene glycol dibenzoate. It has excellent compatibility with polar polymers and achieves stronger, better-coalesced films with excellent performance characteristics. It is economical to use and is created to offer improved handling due to its lower freeze point. It shows excellent scrub-, dirt- & blocking resistance, gloss and Tg suppression. K-FLEX® 975P can also be used in direct-to-metal and corrosion-resistant coatings, where it demonstrates excellent hardness development and salt fog resistance. It is suitable for architectural latex- and other coatings including graphic arts. It is designed for use in waterborne overprint varnishes & flexographic inks. In-floor polish applications, it provides a range of performance benefits, including excellent leveling, recoatability, removability and resistance to soiling, water spots, and powdering. It is listed in FDA 21 CFR 175.105-components of coatings.
