Nacure® XC-300

by King Industries

Based on an alkylaromatic sulfonic acid. Nacure® XC-300 by King Industries acts as a latent blocked catalyst. Offers improved stability in amino crosslinked primers that employ basic or ion exchange type anti-corrosive pigments. Exhibits improved cure stability in thermoset anti-corrosive primers, excellent solubility in non-polar solvents, improved solvent pop resistance, and excellent humidity & salt spray resistance. Is soluble in aromatic & aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, esters, ketones & glycol ethers and insoluble in glycols & water. Nacure® XC-300 is applicable for coil coating primers, primers for appliance finishes and general industrial thermoset primers. Recommended use level is 1.0 - 4.0% as supplied on total formula.

Nacure® Super A233

by King Industries

Diethylamine salt of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. Offers thermal initiation and very good stability. Acts as a catalyst. Used for cationic heat cure of inks and coatings. Also recommended for thermal initiated cationic polymerization of cycloaliphatic epoxies, epoxy esters and epoxy ether resins.

Nacure® XC-9206

by King Industries

Metal complex catalyst for crosslinking of epoxy/carboxylic functional resins. Offers improved adhesion and corrosion resistance. Provides better water resistance and non yellowing. Exhibits improved storage stability and flexibility. Used for automotive clearcoats, can coating and coil coating primers.

Nacure® XC-290

by King Industries

It acts as a blocked acid catalyst. It is especially effective on aluminium substrates and supplies excellent processing resistance to water and acidic liquids. It can also provide good wet adhesion performance, and good package stability. It has applications in solventborne epoxy-free can coatings, and coil coatings.

Nacure® XC-271

by King Industries

It acts as organometallic catalyst for accelerating epoxy/carboxy reactions. It provides lower temperature cure, excellent yellowing resistance and with good storage stability in one component formulations. It has excellent overbrake resistance, good UV durability, provides viscosity stability. It has applications in automotive topcoats, can coatings, and general appliance coatings.

Nacure® XC-293

by King Industries

Based on proprietary acids. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Improves the adhesion of melamine crosslinked systems to metal, especially on aluminum substrates, and adhesion of thermoplastic and ambient cure coating formulations. Exhibits excellent humidity, corrosion resistance, good package stability and improved cure response of amino crosslinkers, particularly partially alkylated types. Is soluble in alcohols, glycol ethers and glycols. Can be used as the sole catalyst for partially alkylated or high-NH type melamines or in conjunction with strong acid catalysts for fully alkylated melamine systems. Applicable for general industrial, can- and coil coatings. Recommended level is 0.5-2.0% as supplied on total resin solids.

Nacure® 9250
