K-POL® 8211 by King Industries is a 100% active, aliphatic and saturated diol recommended for 2-component polyurethane coatings and coatings formulated with amino crosslinking resins. It provides lower VOC systems with improved toughness, high modulus and good exterior durability and excellent performance in thin film coatings. Recommended dosage for K-POL® 8211 in 2-component polyurethane systems is 5-15% on total resin solids and 5-10% for melamine baking systems. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
