K-Cure® 1040

K-Cure® 1040 by King Industries is a solution of para-toluenesulfonic acid (p-TSA) in isopropanol. High quality grade of acid to provide optimum properties. Used as a catalyst. Offers fast cure. Provides very good weathering and exterior durability. Exhibits high gloss. K-Cure® 1040 is used in appliance finishes, can coatings, general industrials, paper coatings, wood coatings and printing inks.

K-Cure® 129B

Strong acid catalyst. Designed to produce fast cures with adequate pot life in two component acid curing lacquers. Is not recommended for use on metal substrates because of its corrosive nature. Its high acid value allows low dose levels. Used in fast cure coatings crosslinked with urea or melamine for plastic coatings, wood coatings and paper coatings.

K-Cure® 129W

K-Cure® 129W by King Industries is non-flammable solution of mixed acids in water. Used in thermoset high solids and waterborne coatings based upon low molecular weight resins (acrylics, alkyds, epoxies and polyesters) and amino-formaldehyde crosslinkers (melamines, ureas, glycolurils and benzoguanamines). Offers cure response capabilities from room temperature. Provides fast cure and low curing temperatures. Recommended for waterborne ink and wood coatings.
