PoleStar™ 200P by Imerys is a kaolins based filler, derived from a natural aluminum silicate mineral. It is an opacifying extender. During calcination, chemical-, morphological- and mineralogical changes occur. PoleStar™ 200P is recommended for architectural matt emulsion paints. Its key attributes include significant titanium dioxide reduction, enhanced brightness with low yellowness, exception hiding power and overall raw material cost savings. PoleStar™ 400 by Imerys is a structured aluminum silicate produced by a controlled, high-temperature dehydroxylation of a precisely fractioned, ultra-fine particle kaolin. PoleStar™ 400 is used in TiO<sub>2</sub> extender over a wide range of PVC levels in architectural coatings.
