HYPOX® RA 840 by Huntsman is adduct of the diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A (DGEBA) and a butadieneacrylonitrile (CTBN) elastomer. Possesses high viscosity. Used in molding compounds, impact resistance coatings, toughening of prepregs and composites. HYPOX® DA 323 by Huntsman is dimer acid adducted to an epoxidized bisphenol-A resin. It is a semi-solid which requires mild heating to assist flow or pumping. Improves adhesion, peel strength, thermal shock and impact resistance. Compatible with all standard epoxy resins and curing agents. Used in coatings applications. HYPOX® RA 95 by Huntsman is bisphenol-A epoxy resin modified butadiene-acrylonitrile elastomer. Exhibits higher temperature performance and greater green strength. Combines epoxy functionality with toughness and impact resistance. It is suitable for impact resistance coatings and toughener. HYPOX® RA 1340 by Huntsman is adduct of the diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A (DGEBA) and butadieneacrylonitrile (CTBN) elastomer. Possesses high viscosity. Used in molding compounds, impact resistance coatings, thermocyclying modifier for epoxies, toughening of prepregs and composites. HYPOX® RF 933 by Huntsman is epoxy phenol novolac resin modified with CTBN. Improves impact and thermal cycling resistance, peel and tensile shear strengths and low temperature mechanical properties compared to non rubber modified epoxy formulations. Used in laminating, impact resistance coatings, filament winding, molding compounds. Typical applications generally incorporate 5-15 parts per hundreds parts resin rubber to achieve optimal toughness, higher concentrations and improve flexibility. HYPOX® RK 84 by Huntsman is adduct of solid diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A and a liquid rubber. Provides toughness and a degree of flexibility to epoxy formulations. Used in powder coatings, laminating, reinforcements and solvent-based coatings. HYPOX® RF 928 by Huntsman is epoxy Phenol Novolac resin modified with a CTBN (carboxy terminated butadiene acrylonitrile) co-polymer. Exhibits improvements in impact and thermal cycling resistance, peel and tensile shear strengths and low temperature mechanical properties compared to non toughened epoxies. Used in laminating, impact resistance coatings, reinforcements, filament winding and molding compounds. {poduct} by Huntsman is diepoxide functional polymer of neopentyl glycol and a liquid butadiene-acrylonitrile (CTBN) rubber. Increases flexibility and crack and fatigue resistance. Intended for use in combination with standard epoxy resins when the end use application requires toughening and viscosity reduction. Used in impact resistant coatings, toughening of prepregs & composites, molding compounds and modifier to improve thermal cycle resistance. HYPOX® RK 84L by Huntsman is adduct of solid diglycidyl ether of visphenol A and a liquid rubber. Used in powder coatings, laminating, reinforcements, solvent-based coatings. Provides toughness and a degree of flexibility to epoxy formulations. HYPOX® RM 22 by Huntsman is diepoxide functional polymer of neopentyl glycol and a liquid butadiene-acrylonitrile (CTBN) rubber. Possesses moderate viscosity. Increases flexibility and crack and fatigue resistance. Improves peel resistance and adhesive properties. Used in impact resistant coatings, toughening of prepregs & composites, molding compounds and modifier to improve thermal cycle resistance.
