GLOCRYL GR 1080 by Gold Reef Speciality Chemicals has fine particle size and exhibits pigment binding, adhesion, blister-, stain- & alkali resistance. Used in SABS 1586 GR 1-, low PVC anti-block-, sheen- & gloss-paints. Also used in alkyd repaint surfaces and clear coatings for wood, bricks & paving.
GLOCRYL GR 1078 by Gold Reef Speciality Chemicals has fine particle size, excellent stability and imparts excellent scrub resistance properties with good opacity. Used in high PVC- and hiding-paints. Recommended coalescent are texanol/ucar filmed IBT at 3% on binder solids and high aromatic white spirits at levels of about 2% on total paint weight.
