Moonshine® Silver White Shimmer by Glassflake is a special effect interference pigment containing calcium sodium borosilicate (85-95 wt%), tin oxide (<2 wt%) and titanium dioxide (5-20 wt%). It is based on thin borosilicate glass flake which has an average thickness of 1.2 microns and is coated with high refractive index metal oxides. Moonshine® Silver White Shimmer offers strong interference color, high transparency and extraordinary gloss. It is suitable for use in most flexo, gravure, screen and offset inks. It is used in liquid and powder coating systems for most applications from architectural powder coatings to wall coverings and residential paints.
