Moonshine® Colour Travel Gold-Red-Violet Ultra Sparkle by Glassflake is a special effect pigment containing calcium sodium borosilicate (55-95 wt%), tin oxide (0-1 wt%), amorphous silica (5-25 wt%) and titanium dioxide (2-17 wt%). It is used in liquid and powder coating systems for most applications from architectural powder coatings to wall coverings and residential paints. It is based on thin borosilicate glass flake which has an average thickness of 1.2 microns and is coated with high refractive index metal oxides and silica. Moonshine® Colour Travel Gold-Red-Violet Ultra Sparkle displays strong color flop effect, high transparency and extraordinary gloss. It is suitable for use in most flexo, gravure, screen and offset inks. It is listed on TSCA, EINECS/ELINCS, DSL, AICS, ENCS, KIEC, ECL, IECSC, NZloc, TCSI, PICCS, Switzerland and CIRS inventories.
