Acts as a water repellent.

It is entirely formulated in water-based system.

It is free of any organic solvent, and it does not contain ecotoxic surfactant.

Bluesil™ BP 9710 repels water and allows walls to breathe.

Provides long-lasting limitation of the penetration of rainwater and runoff water in the walls and facades without blocking their breathability (water vapor exchanges).

Also provides very good vapor permeability.

It can be used on many porous mineral materials.

Bluesil™ PI 2074

by Elkem Silicones

BLUESIL™ PI 2074 by Elkem Silicones is a (tolylcumyl) iodonium tetrakis (pentafluorophenyl) borate. Acts as a cationic photoinitiator. It is compatible with epoxy resins, vinyl ethers or any other type of oligomer which polymerizes cationically. It is also suitable to the formulation of hybrid radical/ cationic systems. Recommended dosage level is <1%, combined with a photosensitizer, isopropyl thioxanthone type, for the formulation of inks, pigmented coatings or varnishes applied in thicknesses of greater than 10 microns. BLUESIL™ PI 2074 is used in fiber optics coatings.

Bluesil™ TCS 7534 A/B

by Elkem Silicones

BLUESIL™ TCS 7534 A/B is a two-component heat curing silicone elastomer dispersion (100 parts BLUESIL™ TCS 7534 A & 10 parts BLUESIL™ TCS Catalyst). It cures by a polyaddition reaction using solvent-less technology. Exhibits high bond strength without primer, fast cure at elevated temperature, low viscosity, low thermal conductivity (high insulation properties) and long bath life at room temperature (more than 16 hours). Provides high tear strength and high comb stripping resistance. Is easily pumpable to sustain high coating speed and allows low coat weight. Suitable for textile coating applications, such as coating of airbag fabrics and technical fabrics for insulation, safety & protection. BLUESIL™ TCS 7534 A/B has a pot life of 16 hours.

Bluesil™ BP 9900

by Elkem Silicones

BLUESIL™ BP 9900 by Elkem Silicones is a non-ionic, APEO free, polyorganosiloxane aqueous emulsion. Acts as an anti-blocking agent and water repellent. Provides good water resistance, water vapor permeability and beading effect. It is designed to enhance water repellency of interior and exterior paints, silicate paints and plasters. Its recommended dosage rate for paint formulations is 1 to 5%.

Bluesil™ BP 9800

by Elkem Silicones

BLUESIL™ BP 9800 by Elkem Silicones is an aqueous APE-free polymethylsiloxane resin emulsion. Combined with acrylic or styrene-acrylic dispersions, BLUESIL™ BP 9800 enables the formulation of coatings with high water vapour permeability, notably below the cPVC. In matt systems with high porosity (PVC > cPVC), BLUESIL™ BP 9800 allows good water repellency and high wet scrub resistance. This emulsion is designed for use in facade coatings, to optimize the balance between water repellency and water vapor permeability. Typically, the recommended ratio is between 10% and 50%, relative to the total binder (calculated dry/dry).
