Bayhydrol® A 2139/2 by Covestro is an aqueous, fatty acid-modified, hydroxyfunctional polyester-polyacrylate. Possesses good adhesion and high body. Exhibits good pigment wetting properties and high shear stability. Bayhydrol® A 2139/2 is used in the formulation of two-component polyurethane topcoats. Primary self-crosslinking acrylic dispersion. It has good chemical resistance, long pot life, hand mixability and is fast drying. The neutral agent for product is NH<sub>3</sub>. It is used in 1K and 2K coatings and wood coatings. Secondary polyacrylic dispersion. It exhibits low VOC, high gloss, good chemical and weather resistance and low thermo-yellowing. The neutral agent for product is dimethyl ethanol amine (DEMA). It is used in solvent-borne, high solids, very high solids and waterborne coatings. It is used for coating large vehicles such as trains, trucks, airplane etc., and in metal, plastic, automotive and industrial coatings. Bayhydrol® A 242 by Covestro is a water-thinnable polyacrylic resin containing hydroxyl groups. Used in the formulation of aqueous two-component polyurethane systems for various applications by brush, roller or spray. Bayhydrol® UH 2864 by Covestro is an anionic aliphatic polyurethane dispersion. It is designed for the formulation of waterproofing membrane coatings and elastomeric construction coatings in terms of its high elongation, strong tensile strength, low water absorption and good weathering stability. Bayhydrol® UH 2864 has a shelf life of six months. Bayhydrol® HD 2017 by Covestro is a hydroxyl-functional acrylic resin dispersed in water with approximately 1% co-solvent. It can be used as a coreactant for Bayhydur water-dispersible polyisocyanates in the formulation of <50g/l VOC coatings. It can be combined with other water-reducible binders. Coatings formulated with Bayhydrol® HD 2017 and suitable polyisocyanates, have good chemical resistance and durability. Suitable for highly durable architectural wall coatings. Recommended storage temperature is >0º-30ºC. It has a shelf life of six months. Bayhydrol® A 2542 by Covestro is a hydroxy-functional polyacrylic dispersion in water with 1% co-solvent. Exhibits good gloss and chemical resistant coatings. Bayhydrol® A 2542 is used in topcoats for concrete flooring. Secondary polyacrylic dispersion. Exhibits low VOC, no measurable flash point, good film quality, flexibility, narrow particle size distribution, corrosion protection, fast drying, hardness, excellent film appearance, excellent mechanical properties, optical surface properties such as scratch resistance and broad adhesion profile. Provides high resistance to water, solvents, chemicals and weathering. Possesses compatibility with 2K PU systems. Used in solvent-borne, high solids, very high solids and waterborne coatings. Offers eco-friendly coatings. Contains significantly less and non-aromatic co-solvents. Neutralizing agent is DMEA. Applications include protective coating of planes, trains, trucks, buses and passenger cars (in manufacturing and refinishing processes), as well as high-performance coatings for industrial applications and high-quality wooden and plastic surfaces. Low-VOC secondary polyacrylic dispersion. Exhibits no measurable flash point, good film quality, low level of thermal yellowing of the cured film, flexibility, narrow particle size distribution, corrosion protection, fast drying, hardness, excellent film appearance, excellent mechanical properties, optical surface properties such as scratch resistance and broad adhesion profile. Provides high resistance to water, solvents, chemicals and weathering. Possesses compatibility with 2K PU systems. Used in solvent-borne, high solids, very high solids and waterborne coatings. Offers eco-friendly coatings. Developed especially for the formulation of inexpensive waterborne 2K coating systems with high gloss and adequate water and solvent resistance Contains significantly less and non-aromatic co-solvents. Neutralizing agent is DMEA. Applications include protective coating of planes, trains, trucks, buses and passenger cars (in manufacturing and refinishing processes), as well as high-performance coatings for industrial applications and high-quality wooden and plastic surfaces. Water-thinnable, oil-free, saturated polyester resin. Used as a binder in the formulation of stoving top coats and primers. Provides very good resistance to hydrolysis. Can be combined with hexamethoxymethyl
melamine resins (HMMM) and partially methyletherified melamine resins to formulate water-thinnable stoving top coats and primers. Offers good pigment wetting properties and high shear stability.
