Bayhydrol® HD 2017 by Covestro is a hydroxyl-functional acrylic resin dispersed in water with approximately 1% co-solvent. It can be used as a coreactant for Bayhydur water-dispersible polyisocyanates in the formulation of <50g/l VOC coatings. It can be combined with other water-reducible binders. Coatings formulated with Bayhydrol® HD 2017 and suitable polyisocyanates, have good chemical resistance and durability. Suitable for highly durable architectural wall coatings. Recommended storage temperature is >0º-30ºC. It has a shelf life of six months.
