Avicor® 2550 is a high performance latex emulsion by Celanese. Exhibits high gloss and good wet and dry adhesion. Offers excellent scrub durability and high chalk- and cracking resistance benefits. Designed as an excellent modifying resin for vinyl acrylics. Recommended for use in coatings. The shelf life of Avicor® 2550 is 6 months. Acrylic emulsion (100%). It is an APE-free, low VOC, self-crosslinking, low viscosity, fine particle size emulsion. Provides excellent adhesion over aged alkyd (wet & dry), block resistance, scrub resistance and rheological additive response. Can blend with Celanese’s vinyl-based (PVA and VAE) resin systems. Gives excellent performance at ultra-low VOCs in flat and non-flat formulations for semi-gloss wall & trim paints, clears and other architectural coatings. Vinyl acetate-butyl acrylate copolymer. It is a small particle size, APE-free, low VOC capable emulsion. Exhibits excellent scrub-, water- & stain resistance, high molecular weight and touch-up properties. Offers good hardness, gloss and flexibility. Produces clear paint films with superior toughness, gloss and durability. Provides excellent thickening response when used with associative thickeners. Compatible with many other polymers and coalescents. Recommended for use in interior flat to semi-gloss sheen formulations for windows. Vinyl acetate/Veova/acrylic cross-linking terpolymer emulsion. Exhibits excellent pigment binding efficiency for highly filled systems, color retention, gloss, alkali resistance and efflorescence resistance. Shows excellent performance when applied over architectural masonry, wood, or composite substrates. Recommended for both interior and exterior coatings formulations. Avicor® 7305 is a versatile, APE-free vinyl acrylic copolymer (54-56%) emulsion. It is a fine particle sized emulsion with freeze-thaw stability at low glycol levels. Exhibits excellent stain resistance, associative thickener response and narrow particle size control for maintaining consistency. Offers excellent gloss, flow, film build and leveling. Possesses excellent stain removal and sealing properties. Suitable for interior and exterior architectural coatings. Complies with the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and Canadian Domestic Substance List (DSL). Acrylic copolymer (100%). It is emulsifier stabilized, extremely small particle size emulsion. Provides increased resistance to UV degradation from exterior exposure. Offers excellent water and alkali resistance providing exceptional exterior durability and clarity. Recommended for use in exterior specialty coatings and clear sealers for wood & concrete. Vinyl acetate-butyl acrylate copolymer. It is an APE-free, high molecular weight, low VOC capable, film forming emulsion. Exhibits excellent flexibility and scrub-, water- & stain resistance. Produces clear paint films with excellent toughness, gloss and durability. Shows excellent thickening response and exterior performance in interior and exterior paints. Vinyl acrylic copolymer. Is an APE-free, high molecular weight emulsion. Exhibits efficient pigment binding over a range of PVC, resulting in excellent scrub- & stain resistance, good hiding power and gloss. Also, formulates well with acrylic resins to improve durability. Recommended for both DIY and contractor coatings. Vinyl acetate-butyl acrylate copolymer emulsion. Exhibits high molecular
weight, hardness and flexibility. Offers excellent toughness, water resistance, scrub resistance, durability, high-quality color & touch-up properties, and excellent color development. Provides good mechanical stability, high gloss, stable reaction to borax, tint retention and minimal chalking with the proper pigmentation. Produces clear paint films that withstand the normal expansion/contraction cycle without cracking or flaking. Recommended for interior-flat, semigloss paints and latex based exterior paints. Also, used for properly primed wood surfaces, aged masonry and other alkaline surfaces. Vinyl acrylic copolymer (54-56%) emulsion. Exhibits excellent stain resistance, scrub resistance, freeze-thaw stability at low glycol levels and sealing characteristics. Offers brilliant gloss, durability, good flow and leveling properties with good film build. It has small particle size which assists in maintaining product consistency. Is emulsifier stabilized and can withstand tough washing and scrubbing without burnishing. Recommended for low porosity, flat through gloss interior paint formulations.
