BLACK PEARLS® 1400 by Cabot is a carbon black grade. Used in solvent- & water-based automotive and industrial coating applications. Provides high masstone jetness. BLACK PEARLS® 1400 exhibits high color strength and blue undertone characteristics. BLACK PEARLS® 1000 by Cabot is carbon black pigment. BLACK PEARLS® 1000 is used for drum paints. High structure regular color pigment black. Used for letterpress and web offset news inks. Provides high color intensity with very good dispersibility. Medium structure regular color pigment black. Used for web offset lithographic printing inks and a broad field of liquid ink applications. Provides medium intensity while maintaining good dispersibility. Black Pearls® 160 by Cabot is a general purpose, low color, low UV specialty carbon black. Used in printing inks. Offers very blue undertone with good dispersion properties. Black Pearls® 160 is suitable for a broad range of tinting and less demanding weathering applications. Carbon black. Used for UV curable lithographic and flexographic inks. Offers very good dispersibility and good stability. Imparts good flow to
lithographic inks. Provides flow, low cure energy, blue tone and good aged stability. BLACK PEARLS® 1100 by Cabot is carbon black pigment. BLACK PEARLS® 1100 is recommended for use in drum paints.
