Organobismuth compound. Developed as a catalyst for two component polyurethane systems. Does not foam in the presence of low levels of moisture. It is recommended as a sole or co-catalyst in polyurethane elastomer systems typically requiring lead, mercury or tin catalysts. Also has high selectivity toward the polyol-isocyanate reaction, excellent acute toxicity profile and improved humid aging performance. Used in polyurethane coatings.
