BLO™ by Ashland is a hygroscopic, biodegradable and reactive butyrolactone. It is used as a polar solvent for ionic substrates and as an acid donor in aqueous media at elevated temperature in digital printing and imaging, printing inks, paper, architectural, OEM, UV and release coatings. BLO™ offers stability under a wide range of conditions.
