Drewplus® L-493 by Ashland is a foam control agent formulated from a blend of mineral oils, silica derivatives and surface-active agents, exhibiting excellent defoaming and antifoaming properties. Its applications include effectiveness in synthetic latex paints and coatings as well as water-reducible coatings for industrial applications and inks, and compatibility with a broad range of systems including acrylics, vinyl acrylics and polyvinyl acetate emulsions. DREWPLUS® Y-125 by Ashland is a foam control agent formulated from a blend of mineral oils, hydrophobes and surface-active agents. It has effective control of entrained air. It is used in synthetic latex stripping and paint manufacturing. Drewplus™ TS-4385 by Ashland is a non-ionic proprietary formulation of silica derivatives, silicones and surfactants. It is used as a foam control agent in anti-corrosive primers, flexographic printing inks, woodcoatings and parquet lacquers. Drewplus™ TS-4385 possesses very good persistency.
