Drewplus® L-493 by Ashland is a foam control agent formulated from a blend of mineral oils, silica derivatives and surface-active agents, exhibiting excellent defoaming and antifoaming properties. Its applications include effectiveness in synthetic latex paints and coatings as well as water-reducible coatings for industrial applications and inks, and compatibility with a broad range of systems including acrylics, vinyl acrylics and polyvinyl acetate emulsions. Drewplus® L-198 by Ashland is a foam control agent consisting of a proprietary blend of mineral oil, silica derivatives and surface-active compounds, formulated as a 100-percent active, non-ionic mixture of silica derivatives, mineral oil and esters designed to control foam in various industrial processes.

It provides effectiveness in controlling foam during manufacturing and application processes. Its compatibility extends to most butadiene, styrene, acrylic, polyvinyl chloride and polyvinyl acetate systems. Its applications include trade sales paints, latex/rubber, industrial coatings and adhesives. Drewplus® L-140 by Ashland is a 100-percent active foam control agent formulated from a blend of mineral oils, silica derivatives and non-ionic proprietary surface-active compounds. It has excellent performance in acrylic, PVA and natural adhesives, along with compatibility with SBR, PVA, acrylic, PVC and nitrile rubber emulsions. Its application includes coatings, and emulsion polymerization processes. Drewplus™ TS-4385 by Ashland is a non-ionic proprietary formulation of silica derivatives, silicones and surfactants. It is used as a foam control agent in anti-corrosive primers, flexographic printing inks, woodcoatings and parquet lacquers. Drewplus™ TS-4385 possesses very good persistency. Drewplus® L-131 by Ashland is a foam control agent formulated as a proprietary blend of mineral oil, silica derivatives and surfactants. It has implied through its design for effective foam control. Its applications include coatings and emulsion polymerization systems. Drewplus® L-464 by Ashland is a foam control agent formulated as a proprietary blend of silica and organic solids. It is a cost-effective foam control agent. It provides compatibility and persistence in most latex paint formulations. It is used in both the grind and letdown phases of paint production. Its applications also include a wide variety of paint formulations including flats, semi-glosses and glosses. Drewplus™ L-1600 by Ashland acts as a defoamer. It prevents both macro foam and micro foam. It shows high stability of foam control agent during long-term storage. It provides improved leveling, high persistency and stability during long-term storage of finished paint. It is suitable for low-VOC formulations. It is specifically designed to control foam at any point during manufacture (both grind and let-down phase of paint production) or application of architectural paints based on a wide range of binders systems. It is highly compatible with other components. It is cost-efficient. It is used in interior wall coatings (flat/satin, high-gloss, semi-gloss) and exterior wall coatings. Drewplus™ L-1600 is also used in pigment dispersion, flexographic and screen printing inks. Drewplus® Y-381 by Ashland is a foam control agent formulated from a blend of organic materials and hydrocarbons, providing excellent defoaming and foam-control properties in synthetic latex paints and showing excellent persistency after aging in paint formulations. It is processed with compatibility across most styrene-butadiene, acrylic and polyvinyl acetate systems, and as a non-silica defoamer it offers good compatibility and color-acceptance properties in emulsion paints. Its application includes use in both flat and semi-gloss interior and exterior finishes.
