PC-1244™ Defoamer by allnex prevents foam formation in acidic or neutral organic fluids at temperatures up to 400°F. It is a silicone-free solution of organic polymer in a petroleum solvent. It enhances air release properties and exhibits freeze-thaw stability & shear stability. This grade offers long pot life, heat resistance and improved degassing. It works without materially affecting the surface tension of the media. Typical use levels range from 20-2000 ppm (0.2 %) on active solids. It is designed for paints and coatings. PC-1244™ Defoamer has a shelf-life of 1460 days at 35°C.
