It possesses medium viscosity, and is VOC-, chloride- and solvent-free. It is developed for ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) cured offset lithographic inks and coating.

It provides good adhesion to various substrate such as metallic and plastic materials.

It exhibits good pigment wetting and high reactivity and cure speed, and low color for clearcoat.

EBECRYL® 578 is used in other applications such as screen, gravure, flexo and overprint varnish.

It has a shelf life of 2 years.

EBECRYL® 4220 by allnex is an aliphatic urethane acrylate diluted 25% in tripropyleneglycol diacrylate (TPGDA). It produces tough coatings that resist yellowing. EBECRYL® 4220 is designed for use in the formulation of UV/EB energy curable coatings for application by roller coating, spraying and curtain coating on wood, cork, furniture, paper, parquet, plastics and film. EBECRYL® 3605 by allnex is a light color, partially acrylated ester of a bisphenol A type epoxy resin. It contains both acrylate and epoxy functionality. It may be cured by exposure to either ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) in conjunction with conventional epoxy curing. It may also be cured with UV radiation using a mixed photoinitiator system consisting of free radical and cationic photoinitiators. It is developed for applications requiring improved coating performance properties over those obtainable with conventional UV/EB curing alone. It is recommended for coatings and inks for metal substrates including aluminum. It is designed for applications requiring fast cure speed of an epoxy acrylate with improved flexibility and superior adhesion to rigid, non-porous substrates. EBECRYL® 3605 offers high gloss finish, surface hardness and good solvent resistance. Formulated products may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion and spin coating methods as well as offset and screen printing. It is suitable for dual (UV/thermal)- and two component- curing systems. EBECRYL® 3608 by allnex is a fatty acid modified epoxy acrylate oligomer diluted with 15% of oligotriacrylate (OTA 480). It is characterized by low odor, light color, low irritancy, excellent pigment wetting properties and good cure response when cured by exposure to ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB). EBECRYL® 3608 is recommended for lithographic and screen ink and coatings, overprint varnishes, coatings on cardboard, chipboard, paper, rigid plastics and paper upgrading. Cured films exhibit high surface hardness, good solvent resistance and low residual odor. The shelf life of the grade is 2 years. EBECRYL® 7100 by allnex is an acrylate-functional amine resin generally used as as a hydrogen donor or photo-activator. When used in formulations with a photoabstraction type photo-initiator (e.g. benzophenone), it has an accelerating effect on the UV cure speed. It is characterized by low viscosity, light color, improved stability and excellent pigment wetting. It offers lower residual odor, improved moisture resistance and high gloss. It also promotes adhesion to plastic substrates such as polyester, ABS, polycarbonate and polypropylene oxide. EBECRYL® 7100 is recommended for coatings for plastics, clear coatings for paper, overprint varnishes, screen ink vehicles, metal decorating inks, wood fillers and accelerating UV cure response. EBECRYL® 350 by allnex is a silicone diacrylate that improves slip, substrate wetting, coating flow and leveling when used as an additive in formulations cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB). Cured films containing EBECRYL® 350 exhibit a smooth, tack-free surface, with good blocking resistance. Because of its acrylate functionality, the silicone cures into the polymeric backbone, thus eliminating the migration that free silicone often display in coatings. It is recommended for overprint varnishes, clear coatings on paper, plastics and metal and release coatings. The shelf life is 2 years. EBECRYL® 8413 by allnex is a low/zero VOC, solvent-free, pigment grind urethane oligomer. It is used in conjunction with a letdown oligomer, EBECRYL® 1300 to develop non-blocking thermoformable inks suitable for first and second surface applications. It possesses light color and very high elongation at break, and exhibits high gloss, excellent flexibility and good milling properties. It provides good compatibility, long potlife, faster cycle time, low temperature curing and lower energy consumption.

It offers block-, scratch- & temperature resistance, and good adhesion to a variety of untreated plastic substrates including polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), polyvinylchloride (PVC), polyester, acrylic and glycol modified polyethyleneterephthalate (PET-G).

It does not require corona discharge or flame pretreatment.

UV cured thermoformable inks exhibit tack-free state after cure, low shrinkage (1.2%), and excellent intercoat adhesion.

Formulated products containing EBECRYL® 8413 may be applied via flatbed screen methods and are recommended for use in screen inks in markets such as displays, signage, POP, vending machine panels, packaging, sporting goods, architectural, electronics, appliance nameplates, housing, toys and novelty items.

It is also recommended for elastomers application by 3D printing, providing great shape recovery.
