DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA by allnex is a low VOC, waterborne, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion, free of solvents and emulsifiers. It yields transparent and crack-free films when dried at ambient temperature. Coatings based on DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA provide very good adhesion to plastic substrates like ABS, PVC, PC, PMMA. <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It also offers high elasticity, toughness, excellent mechanical properties and little yellowing at elevated temperature. <li>It is recommended for plastic primers and basecoats.</li> <li>It can be used as modifier resin in waterborne OEM primer surfacer to improve stone chip resistance.</li> <li>Its neutralization agent is 1.0% triethylamine, as salt.</li> <li>If used in ink receptive primer formulations, it provides excellent pigment affinity and high humidity resistance.</li> <li>It can be crosslinked with polyaziridine and carbodiimide to improve water- and chemical resistance properties of coatings dried at ambient temperature.</li> <li>DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA has a shelf life of 365 days.</li></ul>

DAOTAN® VTW 1236/40WANMP by allnex is an aqueous aliphatic polyurethane dispersion based on polycarbonate. It is used to formulate highly flexible coating systems, especially for coating plastics. It dries at room temperature to form crack-free, water-resistant and highly flexible films without coalescing agents or additives. It exhibits very good adhesive properties to PC, ABS, PA, PUR-RIM, as well as pretreated PP/EPDM. DAOTAN® VTW 1236/40WANMP has also been developed for water based printing inks. They are mainly used for the production of flexographic and special gravure inks because of the good adhesion to rigid and flexible PVC films.
