ALNOVOL® PN 650/60B by allnex is a bisphenol A-, isocyanate-, and formaldehyde-free, non-self curing, o-cresol/formaldehyde novolak resin. It acts as a modifier of heat curable phenolic/polyester resin combinations (BADGE-free and BPA-NI systems), epoxy-free combinations and phenolic-/epoxy resin formulas. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It has a very low free formaldehyde content of <0.1% and a very low free monomer content. </li>
<li>An addition of 20-40% of ALNOVOL® PN 650/60B as solid on total dry film solid improves the flexibility of the coating by maintaining the chemical resistance.</li>
<li>It improves leveling and substrate adhesion. </li>
<li>It is compatible with high molecular weight epoxy resins of type # 7 and type # 9, polyvinylbutyral (PVB) and polyester resins like e.g. the food contact compliant DUROFTAL® grades. </li>
<li>It is used for interior and exterior coatings of metal packaging goods like collapsible tubes, containers, cans and drums for water, oils and food. </li>
<li>A recommended ratio is 1/3 of PN 650/60B as solid and 2/3 of the resole phenolic resin as solid. </li>
<li>ALNOVOL® PN 650/60B has a shelf life of 730 days.</li></ul> ALNOVOL® PN 430/GGMA by allnex is a non self-curing, novolac-based crosslinker. It is delivered in coarse powder pastille form. It shows good compatibility with polyvinyl butyral and alkyd-, urea-, melamine-, epoxy- and unplasticized phenolic resins.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>ALNOVOL® PN 430/GGMA is suitable for paints, coatings with resistance to petrol & mineral oils and for reinforcement of rubber.</li>
<li>It is used in fast-drying spirit- and electro-insulating varnishes.</li>
<li>It is also suitable for marine and protective coatings.</li>
<li> It is available in ANZ (Australia and New Zealand), Asia, China, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), LA (Latin America) and NA (North America).</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 730 days at 25°C.</li></ul> ALNOVOL® PN 320 by allnex is an odorless, non-self curing phenolic resins of the novolac type. Used in spirit lacquers, petrol-resistant coatings, varnishes and powder coatings. It provides good resistance to water, weak acids, mineral oil and tar. ALNOVOL® PN 320 serves as a binder for fast-drying spirit varnishes. The shelf life of the grade is 540 days. ALNOVOL® PN 320/PAST by allnex is an odorless, non-self curing phenolic resin of the novolac type.<br>
