B-Tough™ C2r by Cargill is a VOC-free, reactive epoxy functional toughening agent. It is a low viscous, non-migratory additive which is easy to handle and to formulate with. It offers good chemical resistance and excellent impact resistance, while absorbing mechanical stress without impacting hardness.

• It allows for the formulation of zero to low VOC epoxy coatings with the flexibility of a solid epoxy (1001 type) resin-based system and the hardness of a liquid epoxy (828 type) resin-based system.
• B-Tough™ C2r is suitable for indoor floor-, industrial-, marine and protective coatings.

Dapro® BIO 9910 by Elementis is a bio-based defoamer for universal water-based coatings. It is based on vegetable oil/wax components with a small amount of special silicone. It can be used as a sustainable alternative to mineral oil/ petroleum-based conventional defoamer.

• It shows excellent compatibility, effective & fast defoaming performance and very good long-term efficiency
• It can be used in both pigmented and non-pigmented systems.
• It exhibits excellent storage stability due to its unique production process.

Dapro® FX 514 by Elementis is a VOC-free, low odor plasticizer prepared from renewable resources. It provides enhanced tackiness and flexibility.

• It is used in coatings.
• Recommended dosage level is 1-5% by weight of the formulation.
• Dapro® FX 514 has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Susterra® Propanediol by Primient Covation is a pure, plant-based, petroleum-free diol. It is a non-toxic, food safe, renewably & sustainably sourced, 100% USDA bio-based building block. It exhibits high thermal stability and abrasion-, stain & scratch resistance. It is used as a co-solvent in water-based architectural- & industrial coatings and when used as polyol in PUD-s it helps improving adhesion, chemical-, corrosion & impact resistance as well as mechanical properties like resistance to deformation (Young’s modulus).

• In wood coating applications, it offers freeze-thaw protection & open time and prolongs durability due to higher initial elastic nature when formulated in PUD-s.
• It is used as a solvent, humectant and as monomer for polyester binders (polyol) in inks, providing dry performance.
• It improves flexibility & impact resistance, reduces viscosity when used to formulate epoxy polyesters for powder coatings, and is used as NPG replacement.
• Susterra® Propanediol acts as an excellent monomer for polyol production or as chain extender in high-performing polyurethane applications.
• It reduces solvents and provides grain enhancement & gloss in UV coatings.

QUAKER COLOR™ SRF-BKEF-1082 Bio-Renewable Black by Quaker Color is a universal, solvent-based, resin free pigment dispersion. It has a wide compatibility and can be used in many solventborne industrial applications.

• Technology: It is resin-free, surfactant based in PM acetate and n-butyl acetate. Most solventborne pigment dispersions are based on an inert resin, SRF Dispersions are not. This results in better coating properties like hardness, chemical resistance, and durability.
• Applications: QUAKER COLOR™ SRF-BKEF-1082 can be used in solventborne industrial coatings. It should be used where traditional acrylic or aldehyde resin-based systems have too big an impact on coating properties.
• Compatibility: It can be used in systems containing short and long oil alkyds, alkyd modified urethanes, acrylics, CAB, 2K epoxy, 2K urethanes, styrenated alkyds, polyesters, nitrocellulose, and vinyl lacquers.
• Typical addition levels are between 0.1 and 12% by weight.

PC-4144-DEFOAMER by allnex is a low-VOC, APEO-, silicone- and solvent-free, highly efficient defoamer based on hydrophobic modified polymers. It contains biobased and renewable material. It exhibits good compatibility, faster cycle time and fast return to service. It is suitable for metal working fluids and metal working fluid emulsions.

• It offers improved degassing, circulation- and freeze-thaw stability.
• It is used in paints and coatings applications.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% on total formulation.
• PC-4144-DEFOAMER has a shelf life of 365 days.

Epotec® YDF 170 LCG distributed by DKSH is unmodified low viscosity diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F. It offers improved crystallization resistance compared to Epotec YDF 170. It provides advantages in processing due to its low viscosity and delivers better chemical resistance than Bisphenol-A-based liquid resins.

• It is produced from epichlorohydrin derived from the renewable bio-diesel by-product glycerine.
• Additionally, it reduces viscosity without compromising performance, unlike reactive diluent-modified resins, which can significantly impact the chemical and thermal resistance of the system.
• It is used in chemical resistance coatings.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years.
• Epotec® YDF 170 LCG is available in Canada.

LOPON® E 13 by ICL is a mineral oil & silicone-free defoamer. It is a cost-effective, low-VOC, highly efficient grade based on bio-renewable natural vegetable oil. It is designed for use in water-based emulsion paints catering to the architectural interior and exterior paints.

• It is also used in semigloss- & silicate emulsion paints.
• It provides low sedimentation at storage and good long-term effect.
• It conforms to BfR XIV and FDA.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5%.
• LOPON® E 13 has a shelf life of 1 year.

LOPON® E 81 by ICL is a mineral oil- & silicone-free defoamer. It is a cost-effective, low-VOC, very low settling, highly efficient grade which is based on bio-renewable natural rapeseed oil. It provides good processing properties of paints & plasters and shows good compatibility with different types of binders.

• It offers good long-term effect with no negative influence on storage stability of end product.
• It is suitable for universal use in water-based paints and is stable in alkaline systems.
• LOPON® E 81 is designed for interior and exterior emulsion paints & emulsion silicate paints.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% related to formula.
