EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 8530-W-75 by Westlake Epoxy is a versatile curing agent. It is water-reducible polyamine adduct supplied at 75% solids in water. It is used in metal primers for ACE, railway, and transportation coatings, as well as in concrete primers, sealers, and gloss topcoats, including semi-gloss floor coatings for basements and warehouses. It is also applied in institutional coatings (such as gyms, schools, and hospitals) and block-fill coatings.
  • It is free from organic solvents and acids.
  • It provides ultra-low VOC for concrete (<50 g/L) and metal (<100 g/L) coatings.
  • It exhibits superior corrosion resistance (up to 1000 hours ASTM B117).
  • It forms a cost-effective, high-performance alternative to conventional solvent-borne coating systems when used with EPI-REZ™ Resin 7520-WD-52.
  • It enables fast drying times along with good hardness development.
  • It offers a long pot life while maintaining a high-gloss profile.
  • It ensures excellent adhesion to metal, concrete, and other masonry substrates.
  • EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 8530-W-75 has a low amine hydrogen equivalent weight, resulting in lower curing agent demand.
